Course Rules & Etiquette at Stanley Golf Course

Golf Course Regulations

All person making use of Stanley Golf Course do so at their own risk.
Stanley Golf Course is a green friendly non-metal spike facility.
The starter will direct all play.
No practicing on golf course or designated teaching areas.
No multiple ball rounds.
Each player must have his/her own equipment.
No junior players under eight years old; junior players under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Wear proper attire - rules enforced.
Sandals are not appropriate footwear.
Starters and Rangers have authority to remove individuals from the course. No refunds.
Coolers containing alcohol are not permitted.

Golf Course Etiquette

Always Tee-Off between markers.
Please repair your ball mark and one other.
Please replace your divots.
Please play at a timely pace and keep up with the group in front of you.
Always make sure players in front of you are out of range before hitting.
Use caution when removing and replacing flagstick to prevent damage to hole.
Keep all gas carts and pull carts outside of white lines encircling greens.
Maintain a distance of 30 feet from tees where cart paths do not exist.
Do not place carry bags or stand bags on greens and aprons.
Please make sure to smooth and rake bunkers after playing a shot or retrieving a ball.
Leave green promptly after completing hole, fill scorecard out on next tee.
Do not be loud or abusive, respect players around you.
Always be aware of your playing partners when swinging a club.

Driving Range Rules

All children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Please return baskets to the range dispenser.
No food or alcoholic beverages in hitting area.
No smoking in hitting area.
Only one person permitted inside hitting station at a time unless accompanied by a teaching professional.
Please stay behind yellow lines at all time when not hitting.
Anyone witnessed purposely hitting balls over net or attempting to do so will be removed from practice range. NO TOLERANCE.
Never enter the driving range field.
Please see Golf Shop Personnel if any of your equipment ends up in driving range field.
