Violations for not Posting 18 Hole Scores

The first violation for not posting an 18 hole score is a written warning after we post your score. The second violation for not posting an 18 hole score is a penalty score of 72. The third violation for not posting an 18 hole score is a penalty score of 72 and a manual reduction of your handicap index for a period of three handicap adjustment revisions (45 days). A fourth violation for not posting an 18 hole score will be membership suspension until you meet with the Board of Directors on a set date within 45 days after the violation date on why you are not posting your scores.

Scoring Differentials

If competitive scores are abnormally lower than noncompetitive scores a manual reduction of your handicap index will be administered by the Stanley Men’s Golf Clubs Handicap Chairman / Committee for a period up to four handicap adjustment revision dates. Any reduction of your handicap index by the Stanley Men’s Golf Club will be reflected by a letter “M” following your index. At each handicap revision the most recent twenty scores as calculated are weighed against the average of the two best Tournament score differentials, and if the difference of both Tournament score differentials is at least three strokes lower than the Handicap Index (as calculated from the most recent 20 scores), a reduction by the CSGA will be administered reflected by the letter “R” following your index.
