A Weekday League in 2017?
Stanley Golf Course offers afternoon weekday league play starting at 3:30 Monday through Friday. The league playing window is 6 months long, from the beginning of April through the end of September. We are now accepting requests to start or join a league in 2017. Some leagues start as early as early April yet other leagues start as late as June. So even if you inquire late in the spring, there is still a possibility to form or join a league.
If you want to start or transfer a league to Stanley, our league play coordinator will check to see if there are any openings for the days/times you requested and get back to you normally within 2 business days. Be sure to fill out the request form. Presently we have several openings and when other openings become available, the list below will be updated.
• Mon | 5:00 - 5:24 | 16 players
• Mon | 5:08 - 5:32 | 12 players
• Wed | 3:24 - 3:40 | 12 players
• Thu | 3:24 - 3:40 | 12 players
Note: A minimum of 12 players is needed to form a league. Tee times are at 8 minute intervals.
If you want to join an existing league, your name will be added to our Ready-to-Play list along with the information you provide. This list is made available to any league looking for players to fill their playing rosters either as a "regular" who will play every week. or as a "substitute" to fill openings when they arise. A league official may then call or e-mail you directly to determine if a suitable playing arrangement can be made for both you and the inquiring league. Our leagues play Monday through Friday in a time window starting as early as 3:24 to as late as 5:32. The vast majority of league placements occur in the Feb-Mar-Apr window although leagues will fill unexpected vacancies well into July.
Note: If you do join an existing league as a regular, you will have to play the league’s full schedule. Also, you must abide by their policy such as relating to green fee payments (e.g. some leagues prepay green fees for the entire season).
